  ESRC 1+3 funding MA Russian and East European Studies students. Home / EU students only. Full scholarship: Students are funded for a one-year research-training MA (two years part-time), and then funded for three years (five years part-time) for a PhD, subject to satisfactory progress link
Cambridge  BP Centenary Scholarships Overseas MPhil students from specified countries who select Murray Edwards College as their College of First Choice (see details). £2,000 per year link

Fees, subsistence, research training and fieldwork support:

SSEES is able to offer 3 MPhil scholarships in the AHRC Doctoral Competition for Slavonic Studies for 2010 and is also accepting applications under History.

  Victor and Rita Swoboda Memorial Scholarship MPhil/PhD students in Ukrainian studies admitted to SSEES who are not in receipt of a full scholarship (fee plus maintenance) from another source £8000 for maximum of three years link
   UCL Graduate Research Scholarship MPhil/PhD and EngD students with a UK 2.1 honours undergraduate degree or equivalent. Home / EU students only Standard graduate UK/EU fees plus stipend of £15,363 per annum link
Manchester PhD Studentship in Russian and East European Studies Home / EU students Home / EU fees plus £7,500 maintenance grant link

Kent Postgraduate Research Scholarship UK, EU and overseas fee paying students in School of Politics and International Relations. Scholarship covers tuition fees at the Home/EU rate and provides a maintenance grant at the same rate as the Research Councils.  link

Current CEELBAS Studentship details

The Centre has funded studentships (total of 38 Masters and 33 PhD/DPhil) to support study on the following programmes:

CEELBAS studentships were funded through the Economic and Social Research Council and are subject to ESRC funding rules
