This database is owned and maintained by CEELBAS. The Experts are staff and doctoral students based at the universities that constitute CEELBAS and its network. The database also includes international affiliate members. The list of countries/languages included in the CEELBAS Database reflects the region covered by the Centre through the Language Based Area Studies initiative. This initiative is sponsored by ESRC/AHRC/HEFCE and supports CEELBAS.
The Database is a free resource provided to help you find an Expert relevant to your needs. Your search results will list summary profiles of the matching experts and you will be able to view a more detailed profile of those you select to investigate further. The Database will enable you to establish email contact with your chosen Expert.

About the Database
This website is a searchable, online database which is a free resource available to those looking for an Expert on Central and Eastern Europe and Russia. It has been designed to be compatible with browsers such as Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 2. If you are using an older browser, some parts of this website may not function properly. A successful search will present you with a summary profile of each Expert found. Click on the link in each summary to see their full profile, including recent examples of public engagement or consultancy work. Once you have found your Expert, you will be able to contact them directly via a form available on the website.
