New Calls for Applications for CEELBAS funding

Following the award of new funding by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and the British Academy (BA) to support its development of language-based area studies in 2012-2015, CEELBAS has issued Calls for Applications for the following schemes:


Research Network Workshops… to facilitate interactions between researchers, and to enhance impact and knowledge exchange with non-academic communities.

Language Projects… to develop materials and share best-practice and innovation in teaching methods.

Knowledge Exchange Workshops – Small Grants… to take forward the CEELBAS Knowledge Exchange Programme and enhance collaboration with non-academic organisations.

International Research Exchanges… to build international partnerships and facilitate scholarly mobility between CEELBAS universities and international Research Organisations.

Research Internships… to enable postgraduate or early-career researchers at CEELBAS universities to spend between 1 and 3 months working in public, private or third sector organisations.

Overseas Research Training Grants… to assist doctoral students at CEELBAS universities in undertaking specialist research or language training that is not available in the UK.
